Travel + Leisure’s first-ever online survey of the world’s best new landmarks

GRAND CANYON WEST, ARIZ. – Travel + Leisure, a recognizable travel magazine honored Grand Canyon Skywalk as the “Best New Bridge” for their 2012 Best New Landmarks. Travel + Leisure defines “new landmarks” as any landmarks that opened after 1996. Grand Canyon Skywalk opened in March 2007 and is located at Grand Canyon West’s Eagle Point. It is the only place where visitors can look through two and a half inches of crystal-clear glass, stand on the edge of an engineering marvel that extends 70 feet over the canyon’s rim and experience the natural wonder of the Grand Canyon about 4,000 feet above the canyon floor.
